LT360 Spittal to Peterhead HVDC Project
John Gunn & Sons Ltd. is proud to announce the commencement of the Main Works phase of the LT360 Spittal to Peterhead HVDC Project in Caithness, delivered on behalf of our client NKT, for SSEN Transmission.
The Main Works follows the successful Early Works phase of works which saw the construction of;
- Wayleave Fencing,
- Access Points,
- Sections of Haul Road,
- HDD Hardstands, and
- Main Site Compound.
This new phase of the works will involve the full construction of the 21.8KM wayleave to enable the duct installation and later cable installation works between Sinclair Bay and the new SSE Banniskirk Substation. Our works will include the construction of;
- Wayleave Fencing,
- Access Points,
- Main Haul Road,
- HDD Hardstands,
- Duct Installation Works,
- Joint Bay Construction,
- Transition Joint Bay Construction, and
- Full Wayleave Reinstatement
