John Gunn & Sons Ltd have carried out major projects for Subsea 7 at their pipeline fabrication yard near Wick.
Landfill sites and extensions for Highland Council, which involve major earthworks, filling and specialist lining works has also been carried out.
John Gunn & Sons have also installed the infrastructure for wind farm projects in Caithness. This consisted of standard and floating road construction, design and installation of turbine bases, control building construction and trench excavation. We have also completed this work on projects at Forss, Achairn and Houstry.
John Gunn & Sons Ltd have undergone an accreditation process to join the WIRS scheme for laying new water mains. This enables us to install and commission all types of watermain works.
